Title: MoleMate™ UK Trial: The management of suspicious pigmented lesions in primary care.
Short Title: MoleMate UK Trial.
Principal Research Question: To assess whether using the MoleMate system (SIAscopy plus an algorithm specifically developed for primary care) will lead to more accurate diagnosis of suspicious pigmented lesions in primary care.
Start date: 1 January 2007
End date: 31 December 2010
Ethics Approval: Approval received from the Cambridgeshire 2 Research Ethics Committee on the 26th October 2007. REC Reference Number: 07/H0308/167.
