Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) is key to the design and conduct of research within the Primary Care Unit. We do not have our own panel of PPI members for our research work, but lay members contribute and work within all of our research programmes. We therefore endeavour to work with other local agencies that can provide the necessary support and training for PPI members. They also provide advice to researchers who wish to learn more about engaging with PPI within their research.

INsPIRE is a new patient and public involvement (PPI) in health and social care research group for Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. They have been active since 2012 and welcome the opportunity for members of their group to become involved in research.
