Dr Morag Farquhar and Dr John Benson are co-applicants on a newly funded study led by Dr Gail Ewing from the Centre for Family Research (CFR) entitled 'Sharing Bad News: development of an intervention to support patients with cancer share the news of their diagnosis with significant others'.

Funded by Dimbleby Cancer Care the study will commence in January 2012 and is a collaboration between University of Cambridge (the CFR and GPPCRU), the Department of Oncology at Addenbrooke's (Dr David Gilligan and Sue Bailey) and University of Nottingham (Professor Jane Seymour)
