Ms Katie Dearnley - Research Assistant
Katie is a Research Assistant working within the General Practice and Primary Care Research Unit. She graduated from Newcastle University in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Food & Human Nutrition and comes to the unit from a Research Assistant post at MRC Human Nutrition Research, where she was involved in the co-ordination of a large Department of Health funded population-based survey designed to capture the diet, nutritional status and physical activity of a representative sample of the UK population (National Diet and Nutrition Survey).
Katie is currently working on the Get Moving study, investigating the efficacy of minimal human contact interventions in promoting physical activity.
