UNESCO-L'OREAL for Women in Science International Fellowships Application for the 2013 cycle are now open.

The fellowships are jointly offered by UNESCO and L'OREAL as part of the For Women in Science Programme, to support and promote women in scientific research all over the world.

15 International Fellowships are awarded each year. Each Fellowship is worth a maximum of US $40,000 to cover a research period of up to 24 months.

Cambridge AWiSE are delighted to welcome Harriet Fear, CEO, One Nucleus, to our 5th MRC-AWiSE event. Harriet will discuss the role company networks play in global business and how networking on all levels contributes to success.

One Nucleus (formerly ERBI) is the largest membership organisation in Europe, with over 450 members including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostic companies. Its mission is to maximise the global competitiveness of its members. This talk will be of interest to those pursuing a career in academia or industry and looking to make the most of networking and networks to augment research, development and commercialisation.

A full day of high intensity training and networking for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine. Learn new skills or refresh existing ones to realise your full potential in STEM.

A group from Addenbrooke's would qualify for a discount on the full price, at least equivalent to extending the early bird rate.

Fulbright Scholar Awards

Fulbright Scholar awards Fulbright Commission. These enable professionals or academics to undertake lecturing or research in the US for a period of three to ten months. Awards provide $5,000 per month to cover institutional fees, travel, accommodation and general maintenance costs, as well as insurance and visa sponsorship. Award amount max: $50,000.
