Congratulations to Professor Lalita Ramakrishnan from the Department of Medicine, Professor Greg Hanon, Director of the CRUK Cambridge Institute, and Dr Judy Hirst, the MBU’s Deputy Director, who have all recently been elected to the Fellowship of The Royal Society.
 
Lalita Ramakrishnan is a microbiologist, known for her contributions to the understanding of the pathogenesis of tuberculosis.

Greg Hannon studies small RNAs, which are involved in a virtually all cellular processes in some way, to understand their role in cancer.
 
Judy Hirst is a physical chemist who combines structural, biochemical and chemical techniques to pioneer studies of energy conversion in complex redox enzymes.
