The international Dan David prize, headquartered at Tel Aviv University, annually awards three prizes each for outstanding achievements in the three time dimensions: Past, Present and Future.
Prof. Peter St. George-Hyslop, Department of Clinical Neurosciences has been chosen as laureate of the 2014 Dan David Prize for the Present Time Dimension in the field of Combatting Memory Loss. He was the first to discover key mutations in proteins involved in the early onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
