About Professor Joanne Jones
I am a Clinical Professor of Translational Neuroimmunology and an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, subspecialising in the care of individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Project/study information
My lab uses omics approaches to understand tissue immunity and mechanisms of immune regulation, investigating how failure of immune regulation leads to autoimmune conditions such as MS and related disorders. We’re also increasingly exploring how inflammation contributes to neurodegeneration, especially in Parkinson’s disease (PD).
