The Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation has announced their 2020 Essay Contest. This year’s topic is: Describe how a notable scientist (such as a Lasker Laureate) has inspired you – through their personality or life experiences and/or through their scientific contributions.
The Lasker Essay Contest engages young scientists and clinicians from around the globe in a discussion about big questions in biology and medicine and the role of biomedical research in our society today.
The Contest is open to medical school students, interns, residents and fellows; doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows in biomedical sciences; and graduate students in public health or other health professions programs. Applicants must be currently participating in an educational program located in any country.

The deadline to submit an essay is March 31, 2020 at 3 p.m. EST.
