A second application round for the 2019 intake of the Wellcome PhD for Clinicians Programme in Cambridge, including the Sanger Institute is now open.
This prestigious scheme enables clinicians or veterinarians to undertake placements in different laboratories/groups, in order to make an informed choice of project and supervisor, leading to a higher PhD degree.
Fellowship support includes salary, PhD fees and consumables.
We would encourage candidates of the highest calibre with an interest in pursuing a career in academic clinical or veterinary medicine, to consider this scheme.
