Department of Oncology
Our mission is to reduce the morbidity and mortality of patients with cancer through research, treatment and education.
We conduct basic laboratory research, clinical research, translational research and teaching activities related to cancer. We aim to translate our basic scientific findings into clinical applications for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
We offer PhD and MPhil postgraduate degree courses designed for highly motivated and talented students. Our applicants are typically recent postgraduates or final-year undergraduates who hold or expect to achieve at least a 2:1 class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject from a world-leading university.
Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre
