Project/study information 

My lab is interested in studying familial forms of pulmonary fibrosis, a devastating, progressive disease of lung scarring. Its causes are poorly understood, but it is believed that the alveolar epithelium plays a critical role. We use organoid models to understand the triggers of alveolar epithelial dysfunction in disease and identify new treatment targets.
