About Mary McLean
I’m a physicist specializing in magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy. I got my bachelor’s and PhD in biochemistry but have worked ever since on developing ways to improve patient diagnosis and monitoring using scanning techniques.
Project/study information
My work focuses on imaging tissue metabolism and physiology using nuclei other than hydrogen, both in cancer and in brain disorders such as multiple sclerosis, stroke and epilepsy.
